Kurt 's getting the Stewart shaft

Why is Stewart and Haas giving Kurt their junk? HE HAS NOT HAD A COMPETITIVE CAR SINCE HE WAS HIRED. Time to turn Kurt loose with some better and faster equipment

Re: Kurt 's getting the Stewart shaft

I completely think your comment about Kurt Busch is bogus, considering that Gene Haas wanted him so bad that he hired Kurt Busch while Tony Stewart was receiving treatment for his unfortunate WOO/SPRINT CAR accident without Tony's knowledge ... Plus Haas is his full-time sponsor , so I guarantee that Kurt is getting the best ... Plus he had a brand new car for the Coca-Cola 600 and wrecked it in practice if I remember correctly

Re: Kurt 's getting the Stewart shaft

Kurt isn't quite on the bottom of the barrel. He has won at least one race and should be in the chase. And I do have to agree that since Gene Haas hand picked Kurt he'll see to it the man has what it takes to be a winner. It is nearly six months to the Homestead race so I wouldn't count many people out. Remember 2011?

I have to agree with the last 2 posts. To say he hasn't been competitive since he's been hired? Maybe not every race...but that is racing!

Re: Kurt 's getting the Stewart shaft

I will say so far the 10,14,41 teams has been a little off on the 1-1/2 mile tracks, 41 been I think the most off. Harvick's team has been spot on with the 1-1/2 mile tracks. Kurt has had some bad luck on a few races, like Darlington were he was fighting for like 7th at the end before #15 dumped him. And the few mechanical misfortunes have killed some decent finishes, but for the most part they haven't had what it takes to be competitive on the 1-1/2 mile tracks . To me Martinsville has been the only race I have seem the 41 improve the car all race and be the absolute best by the end.

I would rate so far running competitiveness 1-10 scale 10 being the highest.

Welllll..............

I'm rather of the opinion that none of the SHR cars are running at their optimum.
Tony is clearly not running nearly at his best.
Danica's team has had missteps.
Harvick's team has lost engines.
AND... Kurt has had his issues.

NONE of them are running at their best.
They all pull parts from the same parts counter.
The parts man walks back and pulls a part number.
That part does NOT know what car it is going to go on.
Kurt, and every other driver is getting the same parts.

It IS racing..... stuff happens.

Really, except for the personnel on each team......
They are ALL equal regarding equipment.....
