Thanks HH, I always just wait until points are posted to see what I won. Me happy.

Last Race Results: Kansas. You did not pick winners for this race.
Make Your Picks for Martinsville!
Did I miss something, or has Animink decided that since Jr isn't racing at Kansas, they are just going to skip a week?

Better yet, I did not receive my points by the looks of things and what I have been accused in four different messeges I will save for another thread.

Before I go take care of my Dad after his surgery this past weekend, I will go melt some snow by blowing off some steam on the slopes. I think I will grab an egg nog cappuccino this morning.

How is your Dad doing, Beaver? From your post above, it sounds like he was released from the hospital.

He is doing okay...He hates the walker, hates not being able to walk up and down the stairs, hates not being able to take the dog for a walk during the day, hates not being able to drive...pretty much his same ole' miserable self once fishing season is over which happened two weeks ago. He usually works at the local ski area during the winter months, but won't be doing that this year either.
Once the earthquake hit, both he and my Mom thought the furnace had exploded or malfunctioned. So, I had returned to visit them after the quake as we had no phone or internet to reach them at the time and all was fine. We also lost cellphone service as well. That is the nice thing about only living a few miles apart.
Anyway, he is getting better and does say that much. He is off the pain meds. He has two visiting nurses visiting him three days a week.

Sounds like he is making slow progress. That is a good sign. Do they expect him to be able to get off the walker or is it something he will have to continue using?

They expect him to get off it eventually, but time will tell as to when that is. Then he will be using a cane and then just his own two feet.
