The wife and I had a couple of similar picks again, but in a different order...I just hope it does not come back to bite me. I went with

I briefly thought about going with joon-ya, but changed my mind to Mark at the last minute. Mark seems to have a really strong car. Now... can these drivers & CCs keep up with the changing track conditions of a night race after all the practice & quals were done on a warmer surface.?!?

I know Kyle has run well here in the past, but he hasn't shown me much so far this year. Watch him have a breakout race tonight.

I think Kyle will have a good race tonight after his 1st NW win last night as an owner.

No, HH & I did not compare notes... picking the 11 for 2nd was just coincidence.

First I want to apologize to the drivers I picked. I truly do hope they have a good night. With that said, I was going to pick Kasey, but his luck has been so bad lately, I didn't want to add to his misfortune. I had Denny but after last nights race I think the win for Kyle might be the spark that lights his fire.

I truly believe there will be a wreck fest in the first 50 laps tonight. Just too many desperadoes starting up front. (Wonder if Kasey's new spotter is up to snuff yet?) Does Toyota have their engine woes in check? Can Harvick's team get a grip?

HH, well I thought about Harvick, cause I picked him last week, but because he is about to be a papa, I let him off the hook! But you know, whose to say my picks were so bad last week they may hold over til this week!

and I actually remembered to make them!!!

First of all, thanks Beav and Mrs. Beav, for the great hospitality. I would have happily stayed in the one point club so Tony could have won. That caution was uncalled for!!! Get real, a plastic bottle!! Oh well, on to Talladega!

I am packing up the motorhome and heading for North Carolina to the lodge for the 5 point club. At least I can just park the motorhome when I get there. It is only a three hour drive.

Seriously!! I think I got 31 points so I'll be leaving too. If Kyle had not won, I would have had 3 for 3, but in the wrong order. Thanks again all for the fun and eats in the 1 point club!
