Weekly Picks & The 1 Point Club

Everyone who enters their picks gets 1 point for playing the game... even if none of you picks finish in the top 3. So members who enter and all of their picks are wrong still get 1 point and have to spend the following week in the 1-point-club. It's something we cooked up last season.

Now, let's say you forgot to make your picks and get 0 points... Beaver has built a dungeon under the 1-point-club meeting room for those folks. Torture gets Beaver off.

But beaver has a nice side too, he built that luxery 5 point club

And let us not forget what that idiot husband of mine did to our credit cards and what he did to the 1 point club by stocking it with a couple of double ovens, a couple of Kenmore Pro Series Fridges, a huge 52" flat screen, he also bought three Canon multi-function printers and five HP laptops with all kinds software. He also built a 10 foot long desk for all the computer equipment. I know there are some huge firepits outside that have a cement bottom to them and they are about 10 feet across and there are three of those.

Then if that was not bad enough...he had to have that motorhome that he now calls the rolling infirmary. It sleeps 12.

Don't even get me started on his dungeon.

I’ve narrowed my picks down to Tony, Dale Jr. and Matt.

I just can’t bring myself to root for #48, especially after the 2 zingers the NASCAR officials dinked him with at M’ville. It also could be that HMS is Jinxed.

I am a little nervous picking Matt only because I believe Cuz’n Carl is still smartin’ at being the lowest in points at Roush. (remember Vegas?) I already made my picks last week, glad I did with the site being down. I may change them, but probably not.

Whoa... thanks, Beav... you saved me from the dungeon. I forgot it was a Saturday night race.

I figured with the site being down for so long and NASCAR having a week off that we are all suffering from withdrawal, some worse than others. I just don't want to see somebody miss out because of all the down time. However, this will be the only warning anybody gets.

Anybody who knows me knows I hate cats unless they weigh more than 20 pounds.

My mother is lucky because she has a Maine Coon Cat that weighs 22 lbs and this thing has a huge attitude problem although he thinks you have the attitude problem and is not afraid to let you know that.

Sheeeesh, first practice realy ME!!!! Hmmmmm.........

Think we will have to wait until after final practice and pray Steve can find something to help Tony's car. They seem to be able to do that, at least so far.

The only thing that's going to help that car, is to take the green off of it.
