I will stick to those off the coast of Maine in the North Atlantic. There is something about that cold North Atlantic Ocean salt water. Nothing like boiling them in salt water from the ocean with some rock weed...which is a type of seaweed for all you landlubbers. Throwing the clams in at the same time is a special treat.

I lived in Portsmouth, NH for four years and Red lobster can't even come close. Nothing like New England lobster and clams right out of the ocean and into a boiling pot. Beaver I am with you!

I have had Newicks lobster in Dover, NH and lobster from the Weathervane in Sanford, ME. Weathervane wins hands down. Actually Weathervane wins at just about every seafood dish.

Been there!!, Beaver. We used to get our best lobster from a place right under the bridge to Kittery, Ma. We always bought the culls( they only had one claw, probably lost it in a fight) much cheaper, and came home and fired up the BBQ, put the pot on and melt the butter. Then dig in! My mom made clam chowder with the clams! A little bit of heaven! Yum!
