Spencer at it again.............

well when you had a mediocre racing career and tv career, the only way to stay in the public eye is to tell half truths. this week was no difference, he said on the hub, that nascar threw out the rule book when it came to the caution for ryan when he spun out and stopped on the back stretch, then he went on to say JJ was below the yellow line, but nascar didnt wanna call it because it would have taken away from the great finish.
First off JJ did have his wheels past the yellow line, but the rule state as long as you get above the yellow line without advancing your position, it is ok to do, not to mention martin tried to put a block on jj, jr, so spencer explained part of the rule so it would fit his fat bald mouth,

this is why i never, and i mean NEVER spend my time watching nascar shows, i just stumbled on the video on nascar.com

Got to agree. Speed calls themselves "the motorsports authority." If Jimmy Spencer, Kenny Wallace, Hermie Sadler, etc. are their idea of the motorsports authorities, they think as much of NASCAR fans as ESPN does.

Yes they do have true motorsports authorities like Bob Varsha, but still. If they wanna get fans watching, give John Kernan a show every night. Worked pretty well for ESPN2.

Pretty much thought that myself,long as you don't advance your position while below the double line,it doesn't matter.Spencer also claimed Jr. gets favortism,whether he was just being sarcastic or what,i don't know.JJ had no place to go but below the yellow line,doesn't matter thou,Martin screwed it up for Jeff when he backed off Jeffs bumper and tried to block his own teammate even thou he wasn't his dance partner?Jeff can thank Mark for losing the race for Jeff,he stayed where he was at,they had a much better shot at the win.Actually,i was surprised how well JJ and Jr.worked together,guess Jeff picked the wrong guy.lol The Hub i find amusing,Nascar Now you can believe most of it,but alot of it i find sometimes speculation,aside the teams and drivers,does anyone really know for sure?

i love kenny wallace and jimmy spencer casue they make me alugh. who cares if they are washed up drivers.. although kennawallace is doing much better this year.
much much rather listen to kenny than crusty on pre race.. i have to mute the tv his voice gets on my last nerve.

Kenny has two top tens this season and just finished 12th at nashvillie not bad for Robby Benton's small team. Kenny is actually a pretty good driver has three wins at Richmond.

Jimmy is okay. He wasn't the worst driver he's won in all three series. That is something our 5 time champion has never done. He won two cup races, I believe 15 nationwide races, and two truck races. I wish he was still on raceday he can be funny.

i think JJ will take winning a record 5 series championships in a row then worrying about winning or running in the minor league truck races.

That's what I would do if I were in his shoes. I wouldn't care a bit about the truck series with 5 Cup championships!

Have never cared for Spencer, but did appreciate his refusal to comment on a rumor about JZ the other night. He took the high road on that one.

What I like about Spencer is he punched Kurt Busch when Kurt badly needed it.

This i will agree with and don't forget the days of IROC too,there are alot of Cup drivers that aren't so hot outside Cup and of course the other way as well.

maybe 10 years ago i would agree with that statement, when it was few and far between that drivers won in all 3 rank, but now everyone and their mother is winning in all 3, the truck series now is a joke, its there so kyle can chase this bogus nascar record, and any resonable fan will admit it is bogus
