Re: Continuing the Family Legacy..........

To be fair Jeff didn't have the chance as a youngster to get into racing. He was 18 before he was able to see his father. And even then it was difficult and that it was sad what was lost between Jeff and Dale Sr.

For those interested---Not much to be found on Kellys racing career stats, other then this bio from Wiki & the brief one from Imdb as apparently she didn't drive that long before choosing a different career--impressive stuff though? :)

Also found where Karsyn was born in Sept 2000 and Kennedy was born in 2002.

Kelly preferred the family life and behind the scenes, can't help but wonder how far she might have gone, that girl had no fear.

Dale Sr. said one time that he thought Kelly had the most talent in a race car of the kid Earnhardts, but she decided to go the way of the business side, than a race car driver.

I had never seen her race myself.

That's what I said. ;)

Kerry is the right name. I have no idea why I wrote Jeff.

That's ok, I forgive you. Kerry never got enough seat time, family also is more important to him just because of his childhood or separation of family. Kerry did pretty good considering what little seat time he had, but never ran a full schedule. Jeff, his son, i'm not sure if it's his ride, not enough seat time or what, but so far he hasn't had much success. This year is his first full time NW ride I believe.

Now we know why Grandma just plain stopped talking and stared straight ahead untill she remembered what she wanted to say.

My grandmother use to forget our names and keep going down the list till she came up with the right one, especially if we pi$$ed her off. Now, I find myself doing the same.
