Saturday morning Roush Fenway Racing announced that Trevor Bayne will drive the team’s #6 Ford Fusion in the 2015 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series season. The #6 Ford Fusion will have full multi-year primary sponsorship from AdvoCare (which currently sponsors Trevor Bayne in the NASCAR Nationwide Series).
“I’m both excited and humbled to be a part of bringing the No. 6 back to the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series,” Trevor Bayne, the 2011 Daytona 500 Champion, said Saturday. “And to be able to make that move with AdvoCare makes it that much more special.”
“AdvoCare is excited to move to the Sprint Cup Series with Roush Fenway and Trevor next season,” Mike Vaught, AdvoCare Director of Sponsorships, said in a Roush Fenway Racing release. “Roush Fenway is a great partner, and Trevor and his wife Ashton are great ambassadors for AdvoCare. We are looking forward to the No. 6 car racing in the Sprint Cup Series in 2015, carrying the AdvoCare colors.”
Trevor Bayne currently drive for Roush Fenway Racing in the NASCAR Nationwide Series where he sits 5th in the point standings. Trevor Bayne has 50 starts in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series with his career highlight coming during the 2011 Daytona 500 in which he won the race driving the #21 car for Wood Brothers Racing.
This will make another full time sponsor on a multi-year deal for a single team
