Pit Passes at Tallladega

So, I have pit passes for the FIRST time ever!!! I'm so excited - went to Dega last year for the first time and LOVED it! Does anyone know exactly what goes on when you have the pit passes? I want to be able to actually see some PPL....AKA TONY!!!!!!!!!!! I didn't know if you can get close enough to get an autograph or anything like that....any insight you all could provide would be awesome! THANKS!!!! GO SHR!!!!!!!

The pit passes are great. You get a birds eye view of what happens on the track and pit row. I find it more exciting. The pre-race events are usually the best time for autographs. I would contact the track to see which drivers are participating in meet & greets or Q&A's prior to the race. Please note wristband are usually limited to 100 for the high profile drivers and I think around 250 for the other drivers. Being in the know is greatly needed. Therefore, contact the track.

My rule of thumb is take a few pics of what interests you and then enjoy the racing! BTW, have fun!!!!

I usually find the practice and qualifying days, Fridays and Saturdays, are easier to get autographs and pictures. Sundays are when the drivers are in the garage and haulers. Bring a sharpie, good luck and stand near the mens bathrooms... they have to go sometime... lol

i guess its not a good thing to follow them in their and pester them while they are "preoccupied", be a quick way to get a black eye.

Maybe wait 20-30 feet outside the door.
