Didnt realize

all 43 cars finished the race this weekend. (even the 32)

The 32 sure had its problems. No wrecked cars? Perfect.

well the 10 may have been awfully slow & not moving for leaders but the 32 was standing still ........ twice!

be honest i didnt watch much of it today once rusty said what he did, i was like "why bother"

That is surprising, in the age of s&p's. With the size of the purse, it probably made it worth it to run and look to get the best finish possible because that might buy you a couple sets of tires.

Nemechek ran the full race at Daytona a few weeks back and wound up in the first last-lap crash, so I thought he might have an aversion to running the full race somewhere else, but he got over $125,000 for finishing 41st. Michael McDowell finished 32nd and got $144,000. That is big for those two teams.

that's a good point. Wasn't even thinking of the start & Parkers. Wonder why they all went the distance?
