Woohoo Dinger!

Way to go AJ! That NW race was awesome but I thought I'd go nuts with the GWC's... Great race and great driving by AJ!

Re: Woohoo Dinger!

That was great for AJ.
I've been a Penske fan for as long as I can remember. Rusty was my favorite and when Newman came on board, it just cemented my admiration for Roger and his team. I even had to get into it with a couple Earnhardt fans when I would boo him at a couple races.  ;) Of course, I would get the last laugh as Rusty would beat him off of pit road almost every time, and finish ahead of him those nights.
To know how Roger stood by AJ through all his troubles, well....Roger is just a class act.
It really is a good story, and tonight was a highlight for AJ and the team.
Well done!

Re: Woohoo Dinger!

Working for Roger Penske is like being in the milatary,on call 24/7 even on vacation,he expects more for less.
Worked for a licenscee of Penske Truck Lease,we built the company up in this area only to have him squeeze us out when GE Capital had a hand in it and they took over or bought us out.
Roger did help make Detroit Diesel into what it is today by hiring the right people to design a great engine.Rogers long involvement in alot of things has made a monopoly of many things just like others have done in the past.Yep,up front he's a nice guy,but if there's a buck in it,he'll-well you know what in a NewYork minute! ;)

Re: Woohoo Dinger!

It was nice to see AJ in victory lane, especially after all that drama earlier this year. AJ had made a great turn around. Way to go!!
