Chase Elliott

Bill's son is making his Camping World Truck Series debut tomorrow at the Martinsville Speedway. Driving an Aaron's-sponsored truck, No. 94. Turner built it but Hendrick is fielding it, if I'm not mistaken.

Been a long time since I've looked forward - with rooting interest - to watching a truck race. After Bobby Hamilton died the series lost most of its luster for me. Johnny Benson's '08 title run was fun, but he left Bill Davis after the year and went to Red Horse. Then he lost his ride due to no sponsorship and got hurt in a supermodified wreck and hasn't really been back since. Nobody else has jumped out at me, and as such I haven't watched many truck races the last five or so years after watching nearly every one Bobby ran once I got Speed in Feb '04. I know Chase won't win tomorrow but it will be nice to have someone to actually pull for in a truck race for a change.
