My 2 cents.

besides the fact they need to make the cars less aero dependant, which is a no brainer, but esier said than done.

They need to allow the tires to give up more. This allows drivers to have more tire management & allow the drivers to make a better difference in longer runs. Depending how they save or abuse their tires. They need to make the racing more about the drivers in my opinion, & not just track position.

I think it was Hamlin who said they could go the entire race w/o changing left sides. (maybe Edwards)

Interesting that a tire so hard, that wears so little, allowed such impressive times on the track, particularly, .1 off the record in qualifying. If they took 4 on any stop, it was a mistake.

I honestly don't know what to think of the new tire yet, could save money and the use of tires, definitely changes strategy. But yes, the aero pack has GOT to be changed.

Since Phoenix was repaved, we may need to wait till we get to a track like Fontana that really chews the tires up before we judge it's handle on tirewear.
