Well y'all I was able to meet Mel and spend an evening with she and her husband. So great to meet folks you interact with on this google machine. I'd post a pic but I think it's on Karen's camera.

My friend was able to hook us up with passes for today so I'll be watching from pit road. It looks like we get to go to Victory Lane as well. I'll post what I can either later today or tomorrow.

I can tell Vegas will be fun for sure.... lol

When did they stop allowing home-made signs in the crowd? Not a fan of the Sunoco ones. I guess they wanted to stop the distractions from the TV personalities.

Well y'all...I didn't watch the race from pit road...I watched from the roof!! With the spotters! And got some great pics of Matty in Victory Lane. I'll post them tomorrow...I am beat

While you was on that roof you should have asked the spotters to let you say something to each of the drivers during the cautions, like: Hello sexy. lol I wonder how many cautions we would have had within a caution, lol. Glad that you had fun though.

I had no idea they let fans up on the roof with the spotters. Bet you had a great time!

Psssst, maybe she's a secret spotter that no one knows about. lol

The only track I have been up to where the spotters are is Charlotte......it really makes you appreciate the job they do.....I know they have binoculars, but it is like trying to herd ants in matchbox cars. I was up there when Tony was in the Home Depot car for the Coca Cola 600......Orange, really easy to pick out from the others....I don't know how they do it! With all the black and red cars..... If it is windy that's a whole different story.....plus up there the weather is magnified. They are probably the most under rated part of the team for all they do. I love listening to Robert..Tony's spotter.... he is really funny and seems to know exactly how to bring the best out in Tony.....
