no, he got collected by Gordon coming down the hill, sent him into the fence.

The gyro camera inside the car is pretty interesting to watch tonight, it might become annoying after a couple races, but right now it shows the banking really well that they have out there.

Watching the race live on Fox shows the 55 in 18th out of 19 cars. There are only 12 cars left in the race.
