Was looking at Danica_fans daily pic thread of danica & got to thinking.
I wonder if there is a different mandated firesuit for Indy cars than in cup cars? I know there is different brands & such, but I also know there is different degree of quality/layers for lack of a better word. I know in our seires we had to have a such & such type of firesuit. Some had better ones & some had pretty thin ones, but figure Nascar Indy car & all the other types of main stream racing series would have top of the line suits. But made me wonder if there is different types (not brands) of top of line suits made for Indy/Nascar/F-1 etc.
Does anyone know this answer?
Would an Indy Firesuit be allowed in Nascar & viceversa?

Well I ve heard they can have different type/style helmets long as they conform with the safety rules of the series so why not uniforms? Do they have a light weight one for the summer hot races and a heavier one for winter cool races although its gets hot in the car anyway so maybe a non factor in that regard --good question though?
