Good job Jo. Long

qualified 8th for the race.
Only Roush, JGR, RCR & Hornish beat her in qualifying. She was up there with the top teams.
Good Job!

Now can she bring home a top ten against the big boys!

Re: Good job Jo. Long

I was watching quals. Happy for her and hope she does well in the race. Such an underfunded team, she deserves to have good things happen for her. WTH could she do with a top team?

Re: Good job Jo. Long

She just passed Denny Hamlin for fifth. She passed the driver with the most cup wins this year in one of the best nw cars with a car that has half the funding (probably less) and only seven employees. She is proving tonight that she deserves a shot in a top ten car. RCR?
Cup: 14, 1, 29, 88, 99, 11, 17, 39, 15, 5, 2, 16
NW: 7, 31, 3, 11, 60, 88, 12
Trucks: 9, 88, 3, 7, 17, 31
IRL: 10, 11, 12, 26, 3, 38, 27

Re: Good job Jo. Long

she moved into the top 5 passing Denny!
She said she was just riding right now.
She giving a lot of feed backso the CC (hopefully) knows what to change.
Sh told the CC she doesnt know if can deal with being freed up anymore but then went into a bunch of explantions of what is going on.
Also Jeff burton just tweeted she deserves to be on a top ten team (no offense to her current team )LOL
she was pulling away from Denny.
Now she is telling crew what she wants, inthis case she doesnt want any changes right now. (long explantions)

Re: Good job Jo. Long

she is being slowed down by the 88 & he been hounding him awhile. She is getting a lil upset about him.

She finally got around him. Now lets see if she can drive away

She says she is freaky loose off the corner but tight in center. (as she drives away)

Jo p15 & moving up. Her spotter said other than Harvick your the only one passing anyone. Oops! I mean she is now p14 & running fast.

Danicas team told her to use her bumper & move them up. (she just got lapped)

Re: Good job Jo. Long

When she passed Denny he made a comment like maybe he should retire from NW. That was funny...

Re: Good job Jo. Long

See my comments on Johanna under the Danica starts 23rd thread also. Johanna has the stock car background for sure etc etc and she will get a better ride in time etc. I think Danica should have the 70 crew at least set her car up for qualifying as well--joking--maybe? You guys arent the only ones who dont like some CC's or teams. Oh well it is what it is. Johanna is only 20 so she is the future female star of Nascar as Danicas is 30 and struggling and who knows what will happen after next yr? I'd say Jr motorsports should offer Johanna a ride but then again i wouldnt want to wish them on her as Cole Whitt has her similar background and look how he struggles with their cars, and the teams inability to keep the car good for the entire race. Johanna should be fine in time but not alot of better slots openng in NNs due to all the younger relatives taking the rides these days driving in NNS. One small point to make, as well as Johanna is doing qualifying in recent races and now this race and running up front untill her tire trouble, most of her results arent that great. Those who may be looking in on her also sometimes only see the end results as its not where you start the race but where you finish the race that counts for the most part. Course her low funded team circumstances with her could help get her a better ride at some point, esp an Anti-Danica team owner as they talk about lots of her fans are Anti-Danica fans? Its a crazy world.
