I was just wondering if anybody from this site is heading for Bristol this month? If so, we would love to meet up somewhere, just to say hi, or drink a beer or two. I thought we changed our minds and decided on The Coca-Cola 600.

The car is mostly packed, and Liz is putting finishing touches on everything else. We are heading out in the morning. Not sure what time, but I would like to make it as early as possible. Hoping to catch the hauler parade at 9:00, so we need to get there early enough to get our camp set up. Mapquest says that it will be an 8 hour drive.........I think I can make it in 7, lol.

ABC has been cutting out for me tonight at times during the race, even though the rest of my channels seem to be coming in just fine. I watched 17 wreck himself and Tony. Then the picture froze. When it came back, they were showing a driver (Tony?) throwing something at a car coming off pit lane. Was that Tony throwing his helmet at 17?

Yes, that was Tony chucking his helmet. I hope he's proud of himself. If he wasn't going to give Matt any space, why should Matt give him space? I'm guessing I won't hear any "rubbing is racing" tonight.
