McMurray and Montoya running Grand Am race at Indy

Found this on yahoo

The duo also announced Friday they'll team together to run the inaugural Grand-Am race at Indianapolis Motor Speedway in July. They've been teammates the last two years with Dixon and Franchitti for the Rolex 24 Hours of Daytona race, but will be a two-driver tandem at the Brickyard.

''I think it's good for our racing relationship to get to go do things like this,'' McMurray said. ''It seems like every year after the Rolex race, we're closer. I think that's really important for the NASCAR side, for us to be closer and want to help each other more. When we go do that race, it seems like it does that automatically.

So, I'm looking forward to getting to go up and do the test and then the race.''

Cool deal. Doesn't Tony want to run this race too? Would like to see Jamie win a grand am race, has came close in the 24 hours the last two years.

Glad to see that, Jamie is such a nice guy. Wish he would team up with Tony.......they would make a great duo! Maybe Tony could pair up with Brian Vickers! actually he just finished the 24 hours of Leman and not only ran well, but yesterday he said it was one of the best experiences he has ever had. 8-) I think Tony is more of a dirt tracking guy.....he has done quite a bit of it lately.

Jamie is the most underrated road racer in NASCAR. He is always running top five. I would love to see him and Tony team up. I think they would make great teammates in a Grand Am race. Much better than Montoya who makes half the field mad.

Tony loves road racing almost as much as dirt. He loves the shifting, the challenge. Makes sense he is probably the best road racer in NASCAR.

Your boy Kyle Petty was the one who said that btw. I just agree with him. He should have won Sonoma in 2007 when he sat on the pole, lead 33 laps including the late laps and ran out of gas. Road racing is his background as he won national and international go kart championships and even was invited to race in the (then) Soviet Union. He also have three podiums in the 24 hours of Daytona.
Ryan finished 18th and was a lap down for a while what do you have to say about that?
But I must remember who I am dealing with. The only guy who thinks JV wasn't wrong yesterday.
