I just read on the Fox Sports website that Jerry Springer is thinking of sponsoring, wait for it, wait for it....

OMG, as if NASCAR doesn't have enough problems, we may be infected by the Springer! I think NASCAR has to approve sponsors, so maybe this will get nipped in the bud.
After he saw the Ricky Bobby car, he contacted Phoenix Racing and asked them to submit a proposal.

I absolutely agree. I would hope NASCAR wouldn't approve it. Seems like it would be a disaster waiting to happen. I can just see the line of reporters waiting to interview him about this and then his mouth overloads his a$$. Course, that could be a way to get him out of everyone's hair

Funny thing about Springer is he tried to have a legit talk show. But no one watched. Same with Maury. And now they have these mama drama shows.

i know thats a joke, but someone like gibbs has way to much class to put springer's name on a car, i hope finch doesnt do it, but i cant blame him with all the cars kurt has trashed this year.

Actually... Jerry Springer is a VERY smart man.

Smokeshow is right... Jerry DID have a political talk show... that bombed and then he and his producer changed the format, to the mama drama crap. Jerry did not start out with this format in mind... but was smart enough to see what sold at the time...and throwing chairs, sobbing moments, cat fights is what the American audience wanted. Seems like such a shame for Jerry's talents. If one listens to his commentary at the end of a show, his intelligence shows then. He was also a mayor and held a minor congressional seat for a short while.

Jerry has many pokers in the financial fires... and if he wants to sponsor someone, I think he should be allowed to. No other sponsors have been vetted ( or not ) by a show they are on... why should he? His money spends the same as everyone elses. ( Altho I would be hesitant to touch any cash he brought... ewww... who knows where it's been? And why are the bills folded anyway? LOL )

The only 'problem' I have with him, regarding this... is WHY Kurt? LOL If JS is gonna dump a load of cash on TBR ...then anything can happen! LOL Kurt might get good equipment! Holy catfish.
