repaved recently? i might have it confused with Michigan, Pocono, and Kentucky. oh also that lil patch that JPM set a fire <snicker>

past couple years have been the busiest to repaving tracks...... i wonder if they have plans for cali?

IF IF IF I heard correctly yesterday they r planning to repave Kansas after this race....i think i heard reference that it would be repaved when they come back in the fall.....

a thank you tc, it is hard to keep track of what is what with certain tracks, or im just getting old.

My husband's uncle lives about four miles from the track and he says they haven't started yet. Literally he can open his windows and hear the cars on the track. Not a race fan, go figure!!! i have tried . Supposedly they have built a casino that faces the track and you can play the slots while watching the race. Also Victory Junction has another camp started on Wyandotte Lake, small lake not to far from the tracks.

Yes tc, you're correct. They're going to start on it after the race this weekend and it'll be ready for the fall race. Michigan has been repaved and heard that it's "lightning" fast.

I live near the track. The repave is to happen after the race so that it is ready to go for the chase race. That is why the race was moved to April from June.
