Ahh.
Well the media a lot of times has less intelligence than the avg joe at times. I mean lets face it. There job is to muddy the water, so people will talk about whatever they are talking about.
They play on both sides of the fences of topics.
Did I ever mention, the media drives me crazy, when they talk about the sport I love! :D

Re: Favorite Daytona 500s?

I get that stats mean a lot to the media and that is what they go off of. But ever heard of figures lie and liars figure? Stats have their place but once the green flag is thrown they don't mean anything. And stats don't always tell the whole story. Like in 2007 at Sonoma Juan Pablo Montoya won, he passed Jamie McMurray late for the lead, and then shortly after he ran out of fuel and ended up like 38th. Did he run 38th? No. He started on pole and lead 33 lap. It happened to Johnson at Michigan in 2009 at both races. Dominated both races but ran out o gas to finish like 29th and 33rd.

NW: 7, 31, 3, 11, 60, 88, 12
Trucks: 9, 88, 3, 7, 17, 31
IRL: 10, 11, 12, 26, 3, 38, 27
