Juan Pablo Montoya has raided Hendrick Motorsports to find his new crew chief for 2012.
Chris "Sunshine" Heroy, who led Dale Earnhardt Jr. to two top-five finishes as a crew chief in the Nationwide Series in 2011, will assume the top spot with the No. 42 Earnhardt Ganassi Racing NASCAR Sprint Cup team.
“We are very excited to bring Chris into the organization and to have him work with Juan Pablo,” Ganassi said.http://msn.foxsports.com/nascar/story/J ... ef-in-2012

I think Adam Sandler would make a good CC for JPM... LOL

They media were saying that JPM had more fans at Homestead than anyone else. How much longer do we have to listen to the media try and prop him up, I would prefer him to just go back to open wheel.
Thing is that I think that EGR is getting what they deserve with him.
So sad that the team Sr created for his children has been destroyed.

Ive watched Montoya for a long time in racing but since he hasnt done much in yrs Iam surprised he hasnt been cut loose. Apparently he has good sponsors and thats what matters nowdays with so many other drivers lacking sponsors and now without rides--kind of sad really. Read an article about this very thing where some good drivers have lost their sponsors and other less drivers are buying the rides and maybe taking a toll on the series, but thats the reality of todays poor economy I guess.
