Can't dump on Chad anymore

Tue Sep 20, 2011 10:47 am

for the 2nd straight year, harvick got clint bowyers pit crew for the chase,, and people like to dog chad because he changes members, RCR is more less tellin harvick's crew "your ok for the first 26, but we dont trust you guys enough so we want other people to take your place for the final 10"

which is his right, it is any teams right to do that if they have the resources, its about bein #1, not #2

MJ, you're correct on RCR, a real slap in the face to the crew formerly known as the 29 bunch.

But not being able to dump on Chad(or mini Chad for that matter)?? I say whatchoutaklinboutWillis??

Harvick did that before Chad ever did. They just didnt do it in the middle of a race. I dont understand how these pit crew teams can ever feel good about the team they work for when they are used as cannon fodder. However, your right. It is their right to mix & match & move whoever they want. I just hope a team wins that is loyal to their team. Chemistry can trump talent on occasions. These two teams simply are choosing the talent over chemistry. Only time will tell which will win out.

i may not have agreed with the way chad went about it last year, it would have been better if he waited til the next race to switch it up, last year they were hideous on pit road, i guess he seen it as an opportunity to try something since jeff was out of the race. this year however he made no bones about it, that bein on that pit crew was an open competition until he felt he had the right crew, and that there i dont blame him, its one thing to let people know what can happen before hand, rather than just yanking that during the race.

jimmie is "vanilla" (according to popular belief)
chad is "ice" (because of his performance & results as CC year after year)

therefore:

Stop!

Collaborate and listen.
Ice is back with a brand new invention 8-)

I just have to wonder what goes thru kids heads when they hear / see stuff like that on TV.

It seems, in school, the kids are coddled beyond belief.... everyone gets to play / try / a turn .... everyone gets a ribbon because they're ALL winners ( just for trying! ), teamwork, teamwork, teamwork... "There's no "I" in teamwork" ( or $ signs )

Then the kids watch TV and see this...."if you're not good enough to win with, then you're out!" - - It's all about the money now... morals, ethics be ####.

Both wrong messages.... both wrong methods.

Just my humble lil opinion..... :-)

I now return yall to the Jamo & Michael John Comedy Hour... :-D

Ice, Ice, Ice baby.... :-D

smokieonefour  "I just have to wonder what goes thru kids heads when they hear / see stuff like that on TV."
 don't let your kids waste a Sunday afternoon watching tv

smokieonefour  It seems, in school, the kids are coddled beyond belief.... everyone gets to play / try / a turn
 how do they learn if they don't get a turn? and no they're not coddled. my oldest has been doing homework since kindergarten

smokieonefour  .... everyone gets a ribbon because they're ALL winners ( just for trying! )
 maybe in northern cal, but not in Indiana

smokieonefour  teamwork, teamwork, teamwork... "There's no "I" in teamwork" ( or $ signs )
  this deserves 2 light bulbs just for typing what you typed

smokieonefour  Then the kids watch TV and see this...."if you're not good enough to win with, then you're out!"
 what do you think "No Child Left Behind" really means? :o
 Michael Jordan was cut from junior high basketball

smokieonefour - - It's all about the money now... morals, ethics be ####.
 which is why every kid gets a turn during summer league sports, cause it costs parents a sh!t-ton of money just to be on the roster, drive to practices & games that often fall on the same evenings as the other siblings in the family.
 "No Child Left Behind" is based on money. People in wealthy school districts don't get left behind because they can afford outside help for the kids' school development....thus getting more funding from the gov't based on the superb perfomance on their standardized testing scores, compared to other school districts in lower income areas who can't afford outside help.
 Furthermore, when has it not been like that at any point in history?????

not sure where you were going with all this, and frankly it didn't make a whole lotta sense to me, being a parent of 3 kids ages 1-7 who are pressured more than my generation to learn more at a much faster pace (homewrok in kindergarten is f%ckin crazy)
