Something I noticed in Qualifying

When the tracker picked up Ryan & tony for the 1st lap before the 1st turn. Ryan was about 16th fastest & Tony 20th fastest. Granted Tony messed up turn three coming to the green, so his straightaway speed was compromised, but with Ryan that means there were a lot of teams with faster motors than Ryan. He gained spots in every corner, but gained nothing in the straightaways.

Long story short, I am still concerned with their power.

Re: Something I noticed in Qualifying

they'll all be chasing changing track conditions tomorrow. Anybody heard the weather forecast for race time? The overcast skies today for qualifying made the track grippier (sp).

Re: Something I noticed in Qualifying

They have had power issues it seems, but gaining in the corners helps .... if he doesn't lose spots in the straightaways, he may have an advantage.
Go Ryan!
( OK, Tony & Danica too )

Re: Something I noticed in Qualifying

Thanks, Awsum. Sounds like there is a good chance for a rain delay or rain shortened race. Could even be rescheduled for Monday.

How do you factor THAT into your weekly picks?!? :? :? It doesn't get any easier. :( I'm still trying to get out of the 1-point-club. ;)

Re: Something I noticed in Qualifying

With all the variables this week picking 1,2,and 3 is a shot in the dark. May be my week to get beyond the 1 point Club.
