Dick Berggren retires.......

Dick Berggren is retiring this weekend, seventy years young! Dover will be his last race. I really liked him and will miss him, especially his hat. A great reporter who always had a nice way with the drivers .

I heard Brad last week wish him well in his retirement, but I didn't know what the actual date would be. Thanks for filling in the blanks, Annalee.

Sorry that broadcasting is going to be without Dick Berggren. He is one classy guy who knows how interviewing should be. Sure hope they can find someone who knows how to speak and not related to the Waltrips.

He will definitely be missed but I hope he enjoys retirement.

All the cars have a "Berggie" stickers on their B-posts... except Tommy Baldwin's #10. Since the #10 has no sponsor this week, Tommy agreed to have a BIG sticker put on the hood of the car.

After the race, I think Tommy should give that hood to Dick
