I don't care who is broadcasting the race. I don't think there is any need to be broadcasting the radio traffic between the crew chief and the rest of the team when a situation like this takes place...especially when somebody has a foul mouth like Knaus has....or....put a time delay between the actual statement and maybe a 20 second delay to air it so they can hear if it is safe to air it.
My kids had taken naps on Sunday because they wanted to stay up and watch the race. As a father, I don't use that kind of language as I don't want my kids using that language either. There are plenty of other words in the english language that could have been used that would not have been swears and I would not be saying to my kids that I don't want to ever hear you using those nasty words. My daughter then said "Daddy, you should do to him what you do to us when we swear, wash his mouth out with soap...and my son added and use that really disgusting Irish Spring stuff."
I will say it works, they don't swear in front of me or their mother anymore.

I sometimes wonder what their parents think when their kids (people who work in the NASCAR network of employees as part of drivers/teams/owners/ect...) who are supposed to be role models for our kids, behave like this. Then some of the parents are just as bad as their kids and I am thinking about Joey Logano and his father as one example.
I know I am not impressed.

Jimmie Spencer played the clip on Race Hub and said "It had so many beeps, it sounded like a dump truck backing up!" Ha ha ha....
As Chad-the-media's-darlings halo starts to slip, to the networks guys.... dang it!
"I can't freakin' believe it!

he swears at every race, but he is also the biggest cheerleader on the team when they are struggling,

I'm guessing, since I believe he's about the smartest and most dedicated crew chief in the garages, he can pretty much afford whatever he wants. The only thing that's kind of "off" on that team is that Chad and Jimmie's personalities seem to be switched. Chad has more of a driver temperament than Jimmie, very explosive, whereas Jimmie has the crew chief temperament, more calm and reassuring. At least most of the time

should have been fined for it but being a Hendrick guy it did not happen
