So maybe we need to root for Aaron's pulling out? Or that they aren't interested in Vickers. Aarons was the reason they let go of Reutimann and went with Mark Martin, they wanted an established, accomplished driver in order to keep pouring money into MWR.
Vickers though solid hasn't fit this bill. His win at NH was huge though, but like Martin, the thing that bothers me about him (or possibly this car) is he is completely absent from the majority of races he enters. And then gets massive credit for a race that he does well. I just don't believe Vickers to be a solid, week-to-week contender. Ryan has his issues too and seems unable to overcome a bad car most of the time, but overall Ryan is much more well-rounded at many different tracks, better points racer, higher chance to win a race, etc. I just can't get over that Vickers hasn't done anything more than Brian Scott did last year in NW for Gibbs, or what Elliot Sadler is doing this year. But when Logano was in that same car last year he was dominant.
