HOW DO YOU LIKE ME NOW? POST CALIFORNIA........

It figures. I decide to leave Ryan Newman's "Official Site" after posting on there 9 years and now he's having his best start EVER! :? Oh well, I wasn't crazy about the loonie tunes people on there anyway!

My best friend is a Jimmie Johnson fan and is super cocky about it to boot. That fan base has been so spoiled for so long that you can't possibly get in any bragging points if you tried. He came over to watch this race and I pointed out to him that Newman is ahead of Jimmie in points now.(this is super rare!) He then goes to his bragging sheet of all Jimmie's 5 titles bla bla bla!(SOS) I get the same thing being a Cincinnati Bengal's pro football fan in a division with the very hated Pittsburgh Steelers!

The race finish was awesome for a change! Glad they shortened the race. That way not as many blown engines or cautions.

Really, the most glaring thing I see about this year is Newman's racing luck has been in his favor so far! This has been his very "sore spot" since he began his stock car racing career. He is now talking about it publicly. He use to never talk about it with Penske.(gag order probably?) "Driving mediocre stock cars and bad racing luck while with Penske"=NO CHAMPIONSHIPS OR CHASE!

I guess it will be mid summer before the Newman "band wagon" will begin filling up. Oh that's right, it's still early. I should remain mildly depressed about Newman's chances for the Chase. Newman did beat out Jimmie Johnson for the 2002 "Rookie Of The Year"....only difference in their careers was.....Johnson got the "much better" race cars and luck!(he's NOT the better driver)

i for one can say i never throw JJ's success in anyones face, in fact my friends will tell you how reserve i am when it comes to his success, does that mean im spoiled or use to a championship? far from it, i dont take nothing for granted,
people say why are you here if you dont like tony? i like ryan, ive explained it a million times, i for one would be happy if nothing of JJ was brought up, but because he wins alot, he is a easy scape goat, because i will defend ANYTHING i support, i dont dig people who do stuff like that, brag, they have nothing to brag about, first off they are not the ones winning races, and 2nd, its just not cool.
I appreciate the drivers i like, cuz one day they wont be racing no more...

im happy for ryans early success, he has had a rough few years, he deserves recognition, its still early tho, so i hope they can keep a steady pace all year and have a shot at a championship.

It's all good MJ!

It was my buddy's lucky choice in choosing Jimmie. He was a Jeff Gordon fan in disguise in all honesty. But, he saw the momentum in Jimmie and jumped aboard Johnson's band wagon. Everyone likes a consistent winner in any sport he/she may follow. It's the fans who follow the under dogs and never leave them that have the highest character in my opinion! :) I have stuck with Ryan Newman with "blind faith" he would some day be a Champion! :)
