Now it is for completely selfish reasons, but this is how I think.
In the Chatroom I was torn, if Ryan should pit or not. Well Since Ryan was 6th he would start on the outside. I thought if one driver pitted in front of Ryan then Ryan should pit too. (otherwise Ryan would start on the inside) last restart Ryan moved from 8th to 4th, before slowly falling back. I figured if Ryan could get a good restart like last time he would gain a couple spots & with only 10 laps to go, would only lose a spot or two. It was his best chance for a top 5. However I also knew with cars with fresh tires behind him, if he didnt get a good restart he would finish outside the top 10. Well I dont think he would have had a great restart on the inside so I am glad Tony didnt pit. As it were Tony didnt get a great start on the inside & finished 13th. Ryan did get his usual good restart & moved up to 3rd from 6th. Where he slowly lost a spot to Harvick (the race winner) & to Matt Kenseth (who had fresh tires) for yet another top 5. (just like I had figured) The car itself was about a 6th to 9th place car all day, but being a 2 mile track, I will take that car all day long for the 39 team. I will especially take the 5th place finish.
Keep logging top 5's & eventually you will be sitting 2nd in points.
Oh Wait! The #39 team is in 2nd place in points
