Newman "One To Watch" Pick

Can you believe it! Marty Snider is picking Ryan Newman as his pick for "one to watch" in his Fantasy video. Hope it's not some kind of curse?

Practice will be this Friday at 2PM(ET) as well on Saturday Noon and 3PM(ET).

Qualifying is Friday at 6:00PM(ET). Would love to see Ryan getting those poles like old times!

Just hope Team #39 will be on their game for a good run!

He's not the only one. I've seen a number of sites saying that the Rocket Man is a dark horse who has a legitimate chance to win.
And why not?
A win in 2010.... a top 5 in 5 for last 6. And of this run, he never started better than 6th.
Not a super qualifying day today, but decent. We'll have to see how the last practices go, but I think my favorite driver has more than a fighting chance on Sunday. Go Ryan Go!

keep in mind the one time he wasnt top 5 he took 5th late in the race before Carl got loose & put ryan in the fence. So he would have been again top 5 with a Tony G. car. The man is awesome on Driver type tracks. (not aero)
He is one of the best wheelman in the sport but had bbeen on an inferior team. Making the media not notice him. Well I have always pay attention to drivers more than how good the team is. He is one of the best drivers (IMO) in nascar. He just doesnt quickly dump blame on people from his team like others. He takes it on his shoulders. Well after this season I hope he finds a team that will take responsiblity for the team around Ryan
