Stewart-Haas Racing (SHR) has signed extensions with four of its partners through 2013 that will account for a total of 10 races on the #39 Chevy driven by Ryan Newman in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series. WIX Filters, Outback Steakhouse, Aspen Dental and Code 3 Associates will all return as primary sponsors of Newman and the #39 team in 2013, joining Quicken Loans, the nation's largest online mortgage lender. Quicken Loans announced in October that it will be the primary sponsor of Newman and the #39 team for 18 races in 2013, up from nine races in 2012.
· WIX Filters, a member of the Affinia Group family of brands, has been a partner of SHR since the team's inception in 2009, growing from a product supplier to a primary sponsor. In 2013, WIX Filters will be on the #39 Chevrolet for three races  March 24 at Auto Club Speedway, July 14 at New Hampshire and Oct. 20 at Talladega.
· Award-winning Outback Steakhouse, with more than 750 locations nationwide, will adorn the #39 Chevrolet for three races in 2013  April 27 at Richmond, July 6 at Daytona and Nov. 3 at Texas. And the company's well-received "Bloomin' Monday" promotion will continue in 2013, where after a top-10 finish by Newman, a free Bloomin' Onion at Outback Steakhouse is available to customers on the Monday immediately following the race.
· Aspen Dental, one of the largest and fastest-growing networks of dental care providers in the United States, will serve as a two-race primary sponsor for Newman and the #39 team during the May 18 NASCAR Sprint All-Star Race at Charlotte and the Aug. 11 road-course race at Watkins Glen. Watkins Glen will serve as a home race for Aspen Dental, as the company is based in nearby Syracuse, N.Y., and has more than 330 locations in 22 states.
· Code 3 Associates, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization specializing in animal rescue and recovery in disaster areas, will be represented by Newman and the #39 team as a primary sponsor during the Sprint Cup Series' two stops at Kansas Speedway, April 21 and Oct. 6, respectively. The group's logo and slogan, "Riders On The Storm Animal Rescue Team" appear familiar to many in the Kansas market, as Code 3 Associates has been dispatched to numerous Midwestern areas in the aftermath of recent natural disasters.(SHR)(11-29-201

Thanks for this, MJ. I have been wondering about sponsorship.

However, if my math is correct, 18 for QL & 10 for the others is still 8 races with no other sponsor. I know Haas will cover those, but I was hoping they wouldn't have too. Maybe they will get some others before the beginning of next season.

We have seen in the past how BPS has been on both Tony's and Ryan's cars during the same race at least once or twice each season for the past two or three years. That might happen again this year now that they are the primary sponsor on the 14, I find it hard to believe that there would not be some sharing going on.

I think it was during the 2010 season we saw Office Depot as a primary sponsor on Ryan's car for a few races.

I just wanted to point this out as another possability.

Tony did say 2013 was gonna be the best year they've had sponsorship wise for the 39 team.

yeah, 28 is pretty good actually at this point from where they had been before, seemed like a few of the last 4 years Haas was on the car for nearly half the races. I'm guessing they'll add 2-3 more primary deals such as with Bass Pro, maybe another summer movie or something, and Haas ends up on the car for only about 5 races this year. Really hoping something bigger materializes this next year, and really need Budweiser to come over with Kevin.

just picked up my Wix air filter over the weekend too. Had to go a bit out of the way to the O'Reilly store to get it, but gotta support the sponsor!
