An interesting observation....

Ryan will be a serious contender next year. Seeing what I've seen and sensed lately, Matt Borland is hungry again and since they're starting next season with a new car and all teams will be on the same page, I have a funny feeling that Ryan won't be "mid-pack because of Tuba Gibson" anymore. Borland is a sharp cookie whereas Gibson couldn't pour pi$$ out of a boot with directions on the bottom. I'm not a big Ryan fan personally, but, I SERIOUSLY have a good feeling for the 39 next year, and I think all of the 39 team's fans should too. :D 8-)

Re: An interesting observation....

the only problem I see is that both Roush and RCR were down this year, not to mention Ganassi, the 18 and 20 car at Gibbs, etc. So a lot of teams will be looking to rebound next year, and it may only be more competitive. Seems like this season would have been a good year to be running good, such as with MWR taking advantage this year.

Perhaps we'll see MWR trend back down and SHR regain where they were. Not sure Roush will figure anything out next year, and they won't have Kenseth. Also, hopefully Penske won't be as competitive, with their move to Ford and a number of things will be different with the car because of that (and becoming the Ford B-team, relying on Roush for the engines).

My hope for next season though is just a car that has some speed, competing for poles again, and consistently running better than the second-tier teams (RPM, Ganassi, FR, etc.) as many times this year the 39 wasn't any better than some of those cars.

I beg to differ.....Roush wasn't down this year. Biffle and Kenseth led the points except for what 2 weeks thru the first 26 races? They've had some bad luck in the chase or things might be different.

8-) 8-) ......Another strong showing. Shame it took so long to talk Borland outta the front office.

FINE.....just be sure that the egg is hard boiled. I'm not scared and besides, if it glances off the side of my head, I'll pick it up and make some egg salad. 8-)
