For the first time in history, the Performance Racing Network will bring a broadcast of the popular “Fast Talk” radio show to the troops at Ft. Bragg.
The show will feature host Doug Rice and special guest Ryan Newman, driver of the No. 39 Army Chevy, and NASCAR celebrity Kyle Petty. The broadcast will tape from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. and air nationally at 7 p.m. ET. on more than 300 stations around the country. More than 225 military members from Ft. Bragg will attend the broadcast.
“This special edition of ‘Fast Talk’ is a unique tribute to the men and women who serve our country,” said Rice, president of PRN. “It is truly an honor to be able to co-host a show with Ryan Newman and bring our racing entertainment to the troops. They do so much to protect our freedom and preserve our way of life. We just want to recognize their many contributions with our show.”
The show kicks off the spectacular military tribute that Charlotte Motor Speedway does each May for the Coca-Cola 600 and the Memorial Day Weekend. Annually the track works with Ft. Bragg to host troop members at the race and stage an incredible presentation of military precision and firepower.
