OK, so now I wish Ryan was back in the JRM car after that. That 30 car (and Turner in general with Nationwide) needs serious help. This probably explains why Buescher hasn't really competed this year in that car (and I feel bad for him that he is stuck with that next year). I don't think Kahne does all that well with them either when running the 38.
I guess though there were several other more notable teams struggling big, like Hamlin and the 18. Something with that track and current NW car doesn't mix, wasn't a very good race, while the Cup cars had a lot of action.

When Newman drove the 33 years ago for Kevin he was real good! Won many races!
He did well with those James Finch cars too!
I figured he was a field filler with that 30 ride.

he never won in the 33, his wins came in 2001 #02 - 1 win, 2005 #39 - 6

chevy39 may have been thinking of Stewart in regards to wins with the 33. I actually forgot Ryan did those races with the 33 in '09, I think he ran pretty decent with them though but that was a year that Gibbs won nearly every race and they were all proclaiming Kyle B. the greatest driver in history.

ryan did extremely well in the 33, especially at dega, losin to dave r. then the next day getting caught up in edwards and brads mess

Newman has won 7 races in the Nationwide series.(fact check)
I just can't find a stat that shows which car number he has won in in the Nationwide series?
Newman has done well with both Harvick's and Finch's race cars I do know that!
