Nascar Heads To Texas....Yee Haaaw!

I know it's un-inspiring at this stage of the racing season being a Ryan Newman fan. Not in the Chase and so much uncertainty. Newman hasn't been consistently competitive for years!

The early addition of Matt Borland did excite the Newman fan base with future hope of Ryan returning to his nick name,"The Rocket." As we all know. Don't expect much till 2013. All teams will have to "start over" with the implementation of the new Nascar approved 2013 race car. Which ever team figures these new race cars out the fastest will have better success early on obviously.

Newmans success at Texas since joining S/H in 2009 has been all over the place. Newman has starts of:21/26/10/14/16/24/6.........finishes of:15/12/11/20/14/16/21. Ryan did win at Texas back in 2003 and had two poles back in 2005. None of that counts. That was long ago!

The race will be televised at 2:00PM(ET)and green flag around maybe 2:30PM(ET)?

As I said before. Newman may need more than just a few race team pieces to complete his puzzling past performances. They have a good start with Matt!

P.S.It was great to hear Larry Mack comment on how upset Stewart is with his race team. He even threw in a comment about Newmans awful race team! He said there may be a LOT of changes next year.........ya think?
