Due to unforseen circumstances, I didn't get to see the race.
How did Matt Borland do?
I see Ryan finished second. Was he really two laps down at one point?

ryan finished 11th, i know he was at least 1 lap down, but i took one of my famous mid race naps, so i missed a lot, i know tony was a couple laps down. i didnt listen to the radio, so im not sure how he and matt did, hopefully someone can answer that for ya

Matt & Ryan seem promising together. Tons of communications. Ryan never got upset. even when he was two laps down. Matt was capable of changing up stratergies when needed.
SHR problems werent the motors at Martinsville like I read from some. Ryan believes the camber was wrong. Matt diagnosed what Ryan was saying over the radio & in the end, told Ryan what Ryan was saying made sense. & they couldnt fix that in the race.
This would have been the time I started hearing TG saying I dont know, we will have to look at it later & stuff like that. It was refreshing to see (hear) both sides of the radio thinking for once.
Also during the whole race they talked about what hte chages were gonna do later in the race. Not just reacting or adjusting to what the car was doing now.
SHR had horrible cars for this race, but I was still encouraged by how the team was reacting during the race.

Don't know why I said he finished second...I knew he finished 11th. Must have been too focused on the fact he was two laps down at one point.
Or, or...I must have just been too overcome by my GIANTS WINNING THE SERIES!!!!
Anyway guys, thanks for the info. Hopefully there is light at the end of the tunnel.

hahaha, i think it was the hysteria of the giants winning, its ok, hopefully next year we can say hey ryan finished 2nd on a regular basis.
