I was looking at the line up

it shows Ryan & Bobby with the same time.
the 39 team is ahead of the 47 team in points so Ryan should have the better spot from what I see.
It is a big thing because right now he would start on the outside (18th) but if he was ahead of Bobby he would be on the inside.

Is the times a misprint or something?

Schmoopy, someone told me that the first car to receive the time in qualifying like Bobby is first and those who follow with the same time run second, third.......etc. not sure why ?!?

my understanding is the tiebreaker is who is higher in points when exact times are posted goes 1st.

Re: I was looking at the line up

That's kind of funny. On Jayski it says tiebreaker is owners points and has Newman starting 17th where NASCAR has Bobby starting 17th.

All I could find on the web is the owner point rule so wherever it says whoever runs that time first goes before anyone else running that same time, I couldn't find it. Maybe they're just not showing the times out to the furthest decimal?

I don't know, this is headache material...
