POST CHARLOTTE'S WED!!!!!!!!

Like I said earlier this year about Team #39's one step forward two steps back. That's exactly what I saw in todays race! After the blown engine ordeal. I should of known it was "mission impossible" from that moment on.......and it was!

This race saw about 3/4 of the field put laps down. This in my opinion doesn't make for good Nascar racing folks.

Ryan Newman finished P20 two laps down. Newman has been reduced folks to pretty much a "has been" Nascar field filler..............

Maybe you can give me a different racing perspective on this race?

this team was pathetic all night. Ryan actually started to give Tg a bit of crap about his adjustments tonight. & those that follow Ryan on his radio knows he is pretty even keel. Tg didnt have answers but the typical well what do you want to do answer. The pit crew lost tons of time for ryan every single stop the entire night. Ryan passed Kurt however many times they had pit stops. Kurt passed Ryan in the pits everytime! Slow 4 tire stops on so many green flag stops is a seriously bad thing.
TG cant adjust a car, he cant come up with his own strategies once he phucks up the cars, & the pit crew sucks. Ryan is stuck in a trifecta of sucks on this team!!!

This was probably the closest I heard Ryan almost have a meltdown. I have heard him cuss on occasion, but he was highly frustrated tonight. Then one of the last stops Ryan was getting on the team for not talking to him he didnt know when to pit until he ran out of fuel. Apparently TG's radio no one was hearing. The spotter told Tg that no one could hear him, as Tg was trying to get Ryan to come in 3 laps before. Then Tg started to mess with the spotter about it, where Ryan got involved defending the spotter saying if we cant hear you you might not want to blame Jimmy.
So before they went green Jimmy asked what is the hard # (absolute last lap to pit on) & instead of just answering TG started in with some crap, where Ryan piped in with well I suggest you fix your radio. Where Tg said I have been trying to do that for 4 yrs! I thought for the longest time he wasnt gonna give the spotter the info he asked for. (which was lap 275 BTW) Spotter just wanted to know in case of anyone not being able to hear the CC again.

At one point Ryan was so irrated, TG said what changes he was gonna make for Ryans loose car, & ryan said that is fine but what are you gonna do to keep up with the track, because you havent done that all night! Tg only answer before being a baby was well what do you want 3..... 4 rounds into the car? I'll give you whatever you want. if you ask me Tg shouldnt be paid CC salary. he is one of the most pathetic excuses on the pitbox this millinum.
When Ryan was saying hey the car is still way too loose. the Answer was i dont know what to tell you.

God I cant wait for this season to be over with!!!

Only good news I found in this race (Annalee likes it when I find a positive) Is kurt kept passing Ryan on pit road & one would think that 78 pitcrew will be Ryans pit crew next year! (unless Tony steals them)

lets not kid ourselves, ya think next year is gonna be any better? there is no way tony will allow this team to out perform him, if he really wanted the 39 to be the best in nascar, he would have made changes long time ago, and now he is pushing on danica, which i really dont care about...

Now I have to comment. First off no one knows who or what about CC's or anything else for next yr, just speculations from media people who cant find any other storys to draw attention or bored posters. Iam sure though the media and others is going to bore us with the "Jr missing races" for weeks to come 24/7 .

Worrying about what happens and how teams will be for next yr is foolish now anyway as its several months away before next yr starts, so no sense getting all worked up now as what happens-- will happen. Ryan seems to qualify well most the time better then Tony so thats a plus for me IF Danica ends up with Ryans CC etc. Ive said before her being able to qualify on time will be key next yr or lots of people in her corner, sponsors etc will be all over SHR racing--be sure of that. I wish Danica would make her own decisions in all this and stay in NNs but as even the ESPN media said recently, its her sponsors obligation that she has to pretty much follow and they want her IN Cup as does Nascar and Hendrick--Oh Boy? I guess since she's become rich & famous as she is, you dont change whats been working so well the entire career?

AS for Ryan next yr, nothing is known either so worry about that later as well. The good is--he could be better off, and the bad--well--- things could go worse--or maybe-- things will simply stay the same? Either way Iam sure some here wont be happy and will find something to whine & complain about regardless--based on all Ive seen here on this forum. Here's my motto--"Always hope for the best, but dont expect much, and you wont be so dissapointed?

Basically you are saying on a message board that is used for opinions is dont post until it is fact & already happened. then if you dont like what already happened, then dont post. Only post if you are happy of something that bad happened & be happy that it happened.

You were saying all along Danica might not be in cup next year all the while we told you yes she would be. It isnt hard to see what is going to happen when you can see it happening.
BTW I dont blame Danica for moving to cup to soon. I dont think she belongs in cup this early but I dont know any drivers that would tell a cup seat no I am not going. They all go!
Also if I may make a request. Quit whining about those of us that dont wear rose colored glasses.

BTW I saw on the tony section you talking bad of Tony. Let me ask you. Are you gonna tell Tony when you talk to him in a couple weeks you were being negative on the site & Tony should shut the site down?

All of us that chit chat on here use knowledgable information when we are talking good or bad about whatever subject. So if your only purpose to respond to whine about someone not saying everything is great, then take your own advice & ........... dont respond!

Yes I am happy he isnt allowing TG not to take responsiblity for being shall I say not so useful.
But then again for ryan to be that upset a lot of crap isnt going right. So in that regards it sucks.

Not a 100% sure, but my understanding was the 78 crew (SHR crew) is contracted to work with the 78 team throughout this season. Not sure if they were released when they put Kurt in the car, but I would figure the pit crew would stay the same as it takes time to invent a brand new crew to put in place for Kurt from the RCR bunch. Come to think of it. I dont even know who CC for Kurt today. If it was the current guy or the guy that was coming in next year.

Regarding Danica Tony will listen, if not to me IF I get the chance, but to others in her corner who will do anything possible to protect her image as they already have in some regards to overly nasty people in the media for sure. Forums are harder to control, unless they are run and managed by media like speed.com which has tough moderators that ban the nasty posters or even delete the entire thread if it gets too bad. Team forums should protect its personnel and drivers from simply nasty posters who dont know the difference from an opinion or just nasty comments and thats been evident here at times that tony or someone from SHR may not find appropriate here. Danica is unique as while many drivers have great sponsors, she is one of the most marketable drivers in Nascar, as she definately was in Indycar, and she is one of the most marketable faces in sports, with few exceptions. Along with her popularity factor and her brand, as a driver with SHR, they have a responsibility to protect her image as well as giving her a good competitive car. IF she has a lousy CC and/or team next yr and has problems as I mentioned, I gaurantee you Tony/SHR WILL hear about it, one way or another and changes will be demanded.

BTW--for the question "would I tell Tony the truth if I get the chance"--you can bet the farm on THAT. Ive made a career and my life about being an advocate for many things and never being afraid to tell it like it is--NO matter WHO it is. I've been told by many people whether they actually liked what I said or not----thanks--as they said "IF no one ever tells them whats wrong---how will they ever know"? Danica will be under the microscope by many next yr--be sure of that-- and so will whatever CC and team she has.

BTW--when Iam somewhat critical of Danica on other moreso fan sites of hers, they really dont like it. All forums have fanatic fans who simply dont want to be told the truth or have it pointed out to them regarding their favorite driver but I still point out the bad along with the good regarding Danica whether anyone likes it or not. Smile>

this just hit me, when the engine went south, they talked to the tuna and the last thing he said was " im not worried every thing will be cool." i never heard a CC speak like that, did he light up some ganja when he went back in the hauler?????

i don't think he lights up ganja, his euphoria is food induced...

question is, will he make it through the whole season as Danica's CC?

I am not to worried about her making it in qualifying.
She is comfortable out there by herself, & seems to be comfortable with Ryan's Set ups. So we all know he has fast Q set ups, & she can drive them. She shouldnt have any problems in the Q.

Well--facts are when she finally had enough of a bad car race after race and said over her radio to Eury JR, "maybe someone should listen to her as she is the driver" -where is HE NOW? Iam sure many here would throw a pary IF TG IS her CC and she cant qualify next yr and or has lousy results and he meets the same fate as the Eurys? Having Ryans setup to start with may be OK but she is a different driver afterall and the CC needs to listen to her or any driver and know how to fix it as Zippy is doing a good job apparently but he wont be the CC next yr and that worries me somewhat? Iam not going to throw TG under the bus just yet though as we dont know IF he will be her CC or how it will go-- untill it goes? Dont forget she had a couple bad qualifying races this yr where she WAS last and that wont get it done next yr. The good news IS the tough races Dover and Darlingon she actually qualified on time surprising many suggesting she does better with the tougher tracks--we'll see? Phoenix is coming up and she is terrible there in NNs having been there 3 or 4 times already so we'll see how the Cup car IS at that track?

lets get back to ryan............ i just spent a few mins on the 39 team page just to see who is on the team, the car chiefs name is kevin pennell, he has 20 years experience between DEI and SHR, i wonder how different he is from Tony G and if he could be the next man in line?
