Talladega is always a crap shoot just as all restrictor plate races are. You have to have a car to push or be pushed in order to pick up track position. Historically Newman in most cases has not done all that well at these tracks!

Since Newman has nothing to loose he can take a few more chances than most drivers. But, I noticed he lingered around in the back in order to avoid the famous wrecks. That proved to be the best game plan.

Newmans never had a fast solo race car at these tracks. Not many race teams do. And, his only other option is his team mate Stewart who often in faster and seems to want to "hook up" with another car? Ryan has used Denny Hamlin many times with good success.

In the in suing last lap. Tony Stewart admittedly caused the big wreck which luckily didn't involve the #39. He was hanging out in the back. I loved Tonys post interview when he mentioned himself as being,"A finely tuned athlete!" How can you not like Stewart? Newman ended up P9 in which is great for him!

Newman is now 14TH in points but still -47 from P13 that Bush currently owns. Tony Stewart finished P22 and is now 7TH in the Chase! Tony will need some wins!

very easily........... what he did yesterday was selfish, just remember buddy, he took out ryan a couple times on the plate track while bein under the SHR banner.....

he came to my local track (with Schrader who raced that night) in 05' & was a total D!ck to all his fans that night. I was glad that night i wasnt his fan & never have cared for him since. I am sure he has changed since then, but how would I know. The guy you see at committments probably isnt the guy you see elsewhere when cameras arent around. I dont dislike him as much as I used too, but I do not root for him. I found this site being a Ryan fan. i do not feel like I need to pay homage to him to be on this site, despite what Racer1 thinks LOL.

well maybe he learned what its like to have some class hanging with schrader, kenny is one of the classiest, good guys in nascar, and that was one reason i followed ryan, i seen a lil kenny in him.

Least now someone else has actually seen the side of ---hole that i did,i've seen it on several ocassions and know alot more than i care to put on here outside of the race track as well.The only thing i like about him is his involvement in Dirt racing.The cold shoulder he gives BK only instills my idea that he is afraid of the possability BK beats his #### and steals some of his limelight away.

^^^^^^^^^ i remember last year they had a sit down with BK and he said he felt like he wasnt "liked" in the garage and he even talked about how one day he went to tony and tony blew him off.....

dega was the first race in years that i actually had negative emotions on the outcome, id be a liar if i said other wise, i knew JJ wasnt gonna win the race, but had a chance for a top ten, and it angered me because you always heard how tony hates blocking, how if someone blocks him, he will wreck em, case in point matt K at daytona a few years back, he drove matt straight to the grass and matt almost missed turn 3, then tony does the exact opposite and blocks MW, and comes out and makes a joke about bein a finely tune athlete, but in saying all that, all drivers have some kind of accident like this during their career, ya the tony fans can say he took blame for being the cause, well guess what? that is the least he could do, so if the tony fans read this and react, thats cool, i dont mind, but lets not kid ourselves, if it was another driver who caused that wreck and tony got caught up in it, fans here would be complaining how tony's day got ruined..

I have always liked Schrader myself MJ. He's humble(no big ego) and a little more old school in which I like.

Newman is simply just a mellow man from Midwestern America from a hard working middle class family. Had a great relationship with his father who nurtured Ryan into racing as a child. The entire family participated in Newmans racing career. He has rewarded them all "money wise" as a pay back!

Ryan's accomplished about everything in the Nascar sport other than a Championship! There's no signs of that ever happening with S/H unless many changes can occur and us fans have no control over that very obviously!

What's that he's holding, a meat thermometer, gotta make sure those whoppers are done.

The only change for Newman in a positive aspect is to move on outside SHR i'm afraid,unfortunately there are no good rides open.Honestly don't believe the whole problem revolves around the c/c,anyone who drives for Tony will always come after Tony long as he drives the #14.Just my own opinion that goes along with my impression of him.

MW had a great shot at winning that race and didn't blame Tony for doing what he did,i wonder how many others feel the same way? The race was exciting up till that wreck,and it doesn't matter who caused it,it just SUCKED how it ended as well for the other chase contenders aside #17 and #24 who made out on that deal.
