He told his spotter, that thanks to him that Ryan wasnt in the wreck. He got slowed downed in time & crawled through the carnage to get a 9th place finish. I love when Spotters get some credit. usually they are like O-lineman. Only getting their names called when something bad happens.

They both have great spotters, and at Talladega that is really important.....and when it started I kept looking for Ryan, cause with his luck and what was happening I just knew he would be in the middle of it! And when the dust cleared here came Ryan!! Yeah, ninth place, all things considered not a bad day for Ryan! Wheels on the ground! WTG Ryan...... Blooming Monday!

crazy to think not even 25 years ago drivers never used spotters.
