Danica to get Newman's crew in 2013?

Ryan talks up a good game on camera while Tony does not mix words as to how he feels when his crew screws up. Meaning he is all calm, cool, and collected most of the time when it comes to his pitcrew and talking about them on camera.

I wonder what goes on in those crew meetings behind closed doors that nobody sees? You think the pitcrew sticks with TG because they are just as lazy as he is?

Remember Ryan's background and degrees, he is certainly no idiot. There has to be a reason why Tony gives him so much credit for that knowledge and why Tony says Ryan has to dumb it down for him from time to time.

It has got to be hard when you are a CC and your driver knows more than you do.

When I heard that on Race hub I actually laughed out loud.

Then after thinking about it, I was very happy if this is true. Ryan never bashes the guys to the media (or on the radio), leaving many around here to claim Ryan just doesnt care. Well if he is telling them how it is behind closed doors it is apparent that he cares. He just has more class than some drivers.
TG is one of the worst I ever seen on the box. His pit crew is absolutely horrible on 4 tire stops! Although they are really good on 2 tire stop for some reason.

Honestly it should have never been on Ryan to point out those flaws, but if he has been, I am very proud to know he is. (Makes you wonder where management is?)

I am still excited at the prospect of Ryan getting some fresh blood!!!

As far as I'm concerned the pit crew will get over it or be replaced, which I hope is happening. I remember lose tires, bad pits, constantly losing spots on pit road. TG could never adjust the car, I'm tired of seeing my driver fall through the field. Winning a race or two or three is unacceptable they've had four years to get better and they haven't! Ryan said TG is a good person but forgot to say he CAN NOT CC. The crew has been with TG for awhile and have his back, I can accept that but as far as I'm concerned they can have his back somewhere else! It's time to move on.......

Noticed this is the PC read between the lines part. Ryan said TG is a good person & didnt mention him being a good CC. (for good reason)
I look at that omission as him saying he isnt a good CC. (only in a PC way)

Kinda like when someone asks...... is she pretty & the answer you get back is..... she has a good personality!
