RACING FOR PRIDE AT LOUDON 9/23/12

Wed Sep 19, 2012 7:59 am

It was great seeing Team #39 getting a top five this past race! Keep it up........... :D

Loudon is one of Newmans better tracks as far as race finishes. So there is great hope for this race if all goes well..........if all goes well.............. 8-)

No more stats are necessary because this team is so unpredictable. :?

Don't be fooled by watching practice. There's even a strategy on that due to the qualifying line up rules based upon practice speeds! ;)

Team #39 should make us all proud with a good finish and NOT in the Chase! :D

Paint scheme is pictured below...make sure you double check it for me. ;)

Good to go!! Just had my teeth cleaned yesterday... I think this could be Ryan's chance to get a win, he is always so good in Loudon.

Back in the day with Loudon there wasn't anyone better than the 12 car with Newman and Borland. Borland came up with a balance there that just worked at least for several years.

When Borland was hired on with SHR I believe he helped develop a setup for Loudon that ended up proving very successful as well. It showed again today with Ryan and Tony qualifying top 10.

However, what I hate to hear is how this setup has been spread around. Supposedly it would have been "shared" with HMS, and just last week Denny Hamlin made a comment that the best thing Darien Grubb brought over from SHR was this Loudon setup (Denny dominated the last race there). So have to assume Kyle Busch has this setup now too, his qual lap was very fast today. Though today Denny didn't qualify so well.

Those balance secrets are very valuable. I just wish Tony G. had more of them!

I think he does, he just spends to much time at all the local donut shops, fast food joints, and way too much time Outback Steakhouse...top 10 or not.

They ought to make him drive Ryan's car until loses enough weight to feel comfortable behind the wheel.
