I originally wanted to lay blame on Montoya but some times you have to wait it out to see/hear the racing facts! Post interviews give you the better answers.
Team #39 is in trouble now. They will have to be "perfect" from here on out!
Ok, just saw the Gibson interview. Tony said Ryan had a tire going down prior to the Montoya ordeal. You make the call.............
Earlier in the race Ryan's pit crew screwed up and he had to go to the back. I realize nobody's perfect but you can't afford those kinds of mistakes!
Oh well........what can you do?
P.S. What is up with this site? Half the time you can't sign onto it and only half the time will you get reply notices.......geeez!

Doesn't sound like Ryan blames Montoya. Gibson said on t.v that they cut their left rear before Montoya hit him. And they were going to spin out anyway. Either way Montoya is a an @$$.

That just shows what an idiot TG is.
The spotter came on to tell ryan why Ryan was tight & loose was because a tire was going down. Ryan wasnt as fast but was driving straight when he got rammed by JPM! There is a reason they interviewed Gumby & not Ryan. Ryan had a tire going down but he got wrecked by JPM. He was hit a ton, not just a mere oops or "one of those racing deals" JPM over drove the car trying to pass two cars & took out Ryan in the process. If JPM doesnt wreck Ryan yes Ryan would have had to pit & go a couple laps down, but he wasnt spinning out. I think they should make TG JPM's CC. Then I would know alls well in the universe.

i think tony said the right thing, ryan has a long shot in making the chase, regardless still a chance, so why get on tv and start trashing JPM when ya got two weeks left and JPM will take ryan out just for spite, and he is known for doing that...
so it looks like regan smith, matt k and jpm are on the SHR fans crap list this week, i can se jpm bein there, but matt, no...

well like I said. There was probably a reason TG was being interviewed & not Ryan.
Like I said in the chatrrom when ppl thought Ryan would come back on track to get JPM. I said no because he still thinks he has a chance to make the chase. Why deal with either JPM in other races. He has nothing to lose, or get penalized by Nascar.

I never thought Ryan was going to come back to get JPM. A driver 22nd in points is simply not worth it.

I think Gibson said only true, but he doesnt stand for his driver. Zippy didnt have problem to say what he thinks about Mr. Smith..

This site has been so screwed up all day. I haven't had a chance to get on here!
I think Newman was clearly wrecked by Montoya but hasn't publicly said anything so far? Ryan has had other altercations from Montoya in the past.
Ryan is now 15TH in points. Can't say as a long time Newman fan I haven't seen this before but it doesn't make it any less frustrating!
I know I have said this a million times but Newman's bad racing luck has reared it's ugly head again. Ryan can no longer take a passive position with other drivers.
He will handle this in his own way I guess.

JMO..... I think this was payback for the NASCAR hauler punch! JPM doesn't have enough talent to make it in the chase and he knew it was Ryan's best chance for a win and it was his way of pay back........if you all think they forget, think again!! I for one, am not shopping at Target anytime soon! But would love a Blooming onion...go Ryan

i knew as soon as this happened, it would give people a reason to #### and moan for weeks, at least ya'll will get your money's worth in since all 3 cars wrecked........... maybe if ryan ran better all here he wouldnt be in this position, maybe if SHR really cared to see he has a sucky crew chief, he wouldnt be in this position, maybe if SHR put the effort in to building up ryan's team like they did tony's, finding sponsorship wouldnt be a issue...........
