Bloomin Monday ........finished 8th

Sun Aug 19, 2012 5:30 pm

Even though he was sick, Ryan pulled off an 8th place finish......without blowing an engine :) WTG Ryan!! Hope that helps to make him feel better!

I can see the post writing already. An ill Ryan Newman had an "ill handling race car" all day but still pulled off a top 10! :D About 90% of his post commentaries say that very same thing.

Broke my heart seeing Johnson's car go sour with 5 laps......NOT! 8-)

Bloomin onion!

i wouldnt get cocky, be glad ryan didnt get a bad engine, but then again no one on the 39 team knows how to get the power from the hendrick engines hence why he put puts from 10th to 20th every week

thats no joke! Ryan complained today he had no straightaway Speed. But I will take it. 3 HMS engines went sour. Rather Ryan have a little less power instead of it becoming 4 HMS engines.
What has always saved Ryan is late race cautions. That man gains more on restarts than any other driver. All the while having a crap car.
he went from p13 to p8 on the 2nd to last restart. Then with his crap car slowly fell back to p10.
Last restart he went from p9 to p8 where he finished. What made all that amazing is the inside lane all day kept losing spots on restarts.

The bad thing is TG will get credit for another top 10, when in reality with another driver, they may not have any top tens. Late race cautions are Ryans seasons savior. Engine power not so much.

Maybe they are going to make the chase after all. Ever since Daytona this team has come to life. Though it would help if they won another race.

im glad to see you knew i was take a swipe at the 39 team, if it wasnt for the tuna, ryan would be higher in the points, thing that concerns me, if tony keeps taking this free fall in points ( the joy it does bring to my heart) he will knock ryan out of contention for a WC
