A thought about Ryans team never changing

Every year (as Tony pointed out) they have to piece together Ryans Sponsorships.
Makes me wonder if the money is a reason they dont make changes as long as he isnt out to lunch in productivity. (he is always in the top 15)
Dont know what kind of money top CC's make, but maybe with Ryan not crying about TG (like I constantly do) SHR is fine with not having to spend more money out of pocket on the 39 team bringing in another CC. (Haas sponsors Ryans car every year to make up lack of sponsors)

Dont know if any of this has any credibility, but just some thoughts on why they dont change what seems, would have to be an obvious issue.

It would probably depend on who they get to replace "Tuna." They could go from the frying pan into the fire.

Schmoopy, on RACEHUB Ryan is staying at SHR.....he said he is happy and doesn't have any plans on leaving!! Yeah! I didn't want him to leave.....now wait and see about the other part of this team........Don't worry it is not good for you, stay .

I agree Beaver. I pretty sure I will hear Schmoopy yelling & screaming all the way here in South Dakota from Washington!! But I will be yelling just as loudly! lol

Team #48 has been so good for so long. It's only a matter of time that some kind of secret scandal will surface that "someone" put microphones in their shop to get information to better "their" race team?

I feel the sponsorship problems is a concern with all Nascar race teams. Money is tight so it's a matter of advertising "bang for the buck!" When Newman was a promising rookie, Alltel fell in love with him. They got decent sponsorship "face time" especially in 2002-2004 and fell off from there. The love affair courtship falls off quickly if the team isn't winning. If you can find a sponsorship that is a big fan of the driver(like Dale Junior)you don't need a lot of wins. His fan base will buy his sponsorship products. We like Ryan a lot but he doesn't have the star power/fan base like Stewart/Junior/Johnson/Gordon so he needs a lot of wins! Sad but so true..........

Nascar is simply a business. You have to look at everything in the sense are they costing me money in some way? No one in Nascar wants to loose money. As much as we may love our favorite driver. If he/she isn't producing...your gone! So, if you have a slacking race team "THEY" can cost you your driver career. If the race team owner/owners are convinced the race team is doing there very best then the owners must be satisfied of that teams end results. NICE GUYS ALWAYS FINISH LAST.....

yea the secret scandal for the 48 is hard work and surrounding yourself with people that share the same goal, frankly not all the 39 team does, and it is evident, they show up for half a weekend and thats it.

I'm sorry I have to say this but Ryan practiced 17 he will finish 17th + or - a couple spots. I hope I am wrong! This just seems to be the pattern. I hope Grand mom feed him well and he caught some fish.....
