Well Newman fans. I can't "candy coat" Ryan's current situation. Team #39 needs to find a way to finish this race. Team #39 currently has two DNF'S....this is not good.

Newman for some reason isn't Mr.Popular when it comes to finding a drafting partner other than Denny Hamlin? Not sure why that is. Ryan can wheel with the best of them. He and Tony never seem to be able to help one another. Probably because Tony is so much faster?

Daytona is one of those tracks/races anything can and will happen. Newman had "two" wrecks in his races there in 2010! Just saying............

Practice will be this Thursday at 4&6:30PM(ET)........Quals Friday at 4:00PM(ET).......Race Saturday at 7:00PM(ET)

Ryan can only do better.......he has no where to go but up. If Denny isn't available maybe Joey, same team different driver then they could really solve their differences one way or another! Last man standing! I always find it interesting that whenever two drivers are feuding they always seem to line up next to each other..

It's no secret that I'm not a huge Newman fan. But it's also not to say that I don't want to see him successful.

I find it odd that y'all Newman fans aren't calling for zippy's head on a platter. Not trying to be flippant or start any trouble but don't you guys and gals see the need for some sort of change?

Been saying that about all racing season doc. Just read our older posts.

We all are perplexed by not seeing any kind of changes. Newman has been super silent other than his typical repetitive/rehearsed post interviews while he hoists his Coke bottle! He's been well trained in how to handle the media.

I seriously hope Ryan can find a reliable drafting partner. Who ever it is will ditch him towards the end as always!

i can understand joey bein made and making that comment, it is kinda funny, all drivers say it, its the heat of the moment

I wonder when Joey will ever get the picture that he is no match against Ryan, word wise or car wise ........guess he is a slow learner.

As smart as Ryan is, I don't think I would try to out-smart him. I'm sure Joey has learned that by now.

accident or not joey had the right to express himself, if that meant swearing so be it, he has the right to be angry, and if ryan chooses to respond with anger, thats up to him, but ryan has major problems other than joey and should focus on them.....

i guess joey is on the permanent dislike list with JPM.......... not a fan of joey, but hasnt done anything that no other driver has done, and that includes ryan and tony, i can remember a time at dega when ryan bumped casey mears going through the tri-oval and casey crashed into the outside wall. every driver has that phase and they grow out of it.

I don't fault Joey for what he said. I probably would have said the same thing. I just think they need to put all this behind them, especially at Daytona. You mess around there and you can take out half the field. Not fair to the other drivers to be caught up in somebody else's mess. These two need good finishes, especially Ryan.
