Some Bad news for Ryan fans

Well with this being a 1.5 mile aero track, where TG is at his most clueless. He seems to be regressing as the year goes on as well. The team last year failed & ryan dropped to like 18th before driving his #### off to get to 4th with the help of caution flags. Nothing really points to Ryan doing any good this weekend. & if you believe in patterns Ryan will drop back to 18th to 23rd for most of the race. His finish will depend on how close the caution iss to the end of a race.
So with all this, not through rationally being smart, but my gut says Ryan is going to have a very good race tonight. it cant be good for Ryan with me thinking he is gonna do good tonight, but the even worse news is, I feel so strongly about that, I put him on my Money team, Which means the Dreaded Curse shall be lurking.

ya had a tough nite losing an engine and punting joey, he is done, put a fork in the team..

It sounded like he had a top ten car. Then he got into Logano, blew up, and wrecked. Not a laughing matter but the dreaded Schmoopy curse was in full effect! Don't pick him at Loudon! Last year I picked him and he won so leave it to me.

never thought id see the day SS takes credit for any success ryan has <eye roll> someone needs to spend time in reality..............

MJ - you need to come to race chat one day, to fully understand the "Schmoopy Curse" and how it is a running joke, each week.

unbelievable how things were going earlier this year after the win and now this. Total turmoil with the 39 seems obvious, Ryan's running like a lame duck, these weird things start to happen in a season when a driver isn't coming back. Is really sad as I've been really pumped up about SHR and really wish it could work out for Ryan here.

The car actually did look decent but Ryan has got to avoid slipping back so far in the pack all the time. Last year he always seemed to pull off a top 10 or 5 comeback late in a race but not this year. He needs to be up on the wheel early, but doesn't seem to have it in him this season since April (has he been given a reason to not try as hard)?

I'd hope Tony is doing more than how RCR handled Bowyer, or Roush with Kenseth, etc., and really aggressively looking for sponsors - it would seem to me Ryan was part of that championship puzzle last year. So to get rid of Grubb and then Ryan in less than a year would be very strange. They've got this Danica money coming in next year too?
