MATT BORLAND SPOTTER...........

Yesterday Matt Borland was a spotter for Ryan along with Jimmie his normal spotter. I find that interesting, since he is the Director of Competition, not a spotter. I think we are on to something........ Any ideas?

You are probably right, but there was only Robert and Steve on Tony's scanner. Darn, I thought maybe I was on to something .....wonder if Matt ever spotted for Ryan before? I know he was his crew chief and a really good one. Eyes in the sky, and he could hear the back and forth exchange on the car, something a DOC might find very useful in helping Ryan. Just a thought.

Maybe they're trying to re-kindle the fire Borland used to have as Crew Chief, trying to iron out some wrinkles before they announce that Kenseth is coming over?????

I soooooooo hope you are right! I couldn't think of anyone better than Matt to be at SHR! Perfect fit!! That is my hope for him, and SHR, but people around here think Andretti.
I really think he was trying to listen in, to see if he could help out with Ryan's car and race calls and set up. A step in the right direction..
