THE TOUR HEADS OUT TO POCONO!

Newman fans, it's been an exciting racing season so far hasn't it! The #39 team does have ONE win that was won by way of default.

Newman's stats look like this for Pocono from 2009 to current:STARTS OF 5/7/9/5/8/12
FINISHES OF 5/14/14/12/9/5
Has won one race there way back in 2003 in the old Dodge Intrepid his very best year ever!

Practice will be Friday at 12:30PM(ET) and 3:30PM(ET) qualifying will commence on Saturday at 11:00AM(ET) and the race is Sunday beginning at 12:00 NOON(ET).

We really can't make any predictions about how well this race team will do at any given race track. The consistency just doesn't exist unfortunately.

My observation so far this year shows Jimmie Johnson looking consistent as always so very obviously the Sprint Cup Series race team to beat would be that of the #48 Lowes! Are there any Davie's out there that can slay the Goliath #48 team? SOMEBODY PLEASE BEAT THIS TEAM!

Just finished watching NASCAR Now and they were at the Pocono testing today. According to all the drivers they interviewed the track is FAST!! New track record!

Love Ryan's and Tony's cars! Love your pictures and captions! Hope they all do well tonight! It will be fun to see how Danica will do, she sounded a bit apprehensive in her interview. She'll do fine, but she said the last time on dirt was when she was 7 or 8 years old.

Good news, Allen Bestwick from ESPN, will be calling the race! Yeah!!

Like I have said....just trying to make the best of a bad situation. Team #39 hasn't given us all a lot to cheer for so far this year other than the one win and I'm thankful for that!

Thanks SDJ39! I was a Fan Club member(2002-2009)but had to find a new home. Way to many homers and cliques on the old Fan Club!
